Nature’s Nest Montessori

About Us

Welcome to Nature’s Nest Montessori, where learning begins with joy and curiosity! With over 20 years of teaching experience and a proud 10-year history, our preschools in Mulbarton and Evans Park offer a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment for children aged 3 to 6. At Nature’s Nest Montessori, we believe in helping little ones grow through exploration, creativity, and care — making every day a fun and meaningful step in their early learning journey.

Hatchlings

Our Hatchlings class provides a warm, nurturing environment where little ones begin their Montessori journey. Through purposeful play, sensory exploration, and creative activities, children develop social and emotional skills while discovering the joy of learning. Each day encourages curiosity, independence, and a love for exploration.

Nestlings

In the Nestlings class, children build confidence and foundational skills through hands-on learning and guided discovery. With a balance of structure and creativity, Nestlings explore age-appropriate themes that spark imagination and deepen their understanding of the world.

Fledglings

The Fledglings class prepares children for formal schooling while nurturing their individuality and love for learning. Through engaging Montessori activities, literacy and numeracy readiness, and values-based lessons, children develop confidence, focus, and leadership qualities. Our goal is to help each child spread their wings and take flight into the next stage of their learning journey.

Madressa Classes

Our Madressa classes provide a nurturing environment for your child to grow in Islamic knowledge. Held after school from 12:00 – 1:00 PM, these classes follow the Jamiat Class 1 syllabus, covering Yassarnal Quraan, Surahs, Duas, Aqaaid, Akhlaaq, Islamic History, Fiqh, and Hadith.

What makes the Montessori method at Nature’s Nest different?

Our Montessori approach is hands-on, child-led, and sensory-rich. Children learn by doing — using real materials to explore math, language, science, and practical life. They choose activities, work at their own pace, and develop independence, confidence, and a genuine love for learning in a calm, respectful environment.

What ages do you accept?

We welcome children from 3 to 6 years old. Children should be potty trained or in the process of training.

What does a typical day look like at Nature’s Nest?

Each day includes a balance of free Montessori work, structured learning, Islamic studies, outdoor play, story time, and individual attention.

How does Nature’s Nest prepare children for Grade 1?

We focus on building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, confidence, independence, problem-solving, and social skills. Our children leave emotionally and academically ready for primary school.

How do you support mixed-age learning (Vertical Grouping)?

We use vertical grouping, where children of different ages learn together. Younger children learn by observing older peers, while older children build leadership and responsibility. Each child works at their own level in a supportive, family-like classroom.

What Our Families are Saying

“As a parent, I am truly in awe of how this school is run. The dedication, creativity and commitment to excellence are evident in everything they do. My child is thriving academically and emotionally, and it is clear that the strong foundation built here has made all the difference. The teachers pour their hearts into the children, and it shows in their confidence, achievements and love for learning. We could not have chosen a better school.”

“My child continues to excel year after year, and I truly believe it is because of the incredible foundation laid at this preschool. From outstanding academic results to confidence in reading and public speaking, the growth has been amazing to witness. The teachers are nurturing, patient and deeply invested in every child’s success. Their impact leaves a lasting imprint on each learner’s life. We are forever grateful.”

“I don’t even have the words to explain how grateful we are. The love, creativity and commitment that goes into this school truly shows. My daughter received 88% overall with distinctions and we honestly believe it’s because of the beautiful foundation laid here. Both my children are thriving, Alhamdulillah. You don’t just teach — you build confidence, character and a genuine love for learning. There’s no better school than yours.”
